Troops or groups intending to take a short trip should complete this form.
This form is for trips lasting 1-4 nights and within a six (6) hour drive from home.
The form is due at least 1 month before the proposed trip.
All adults accompanying girls must have a current GSUSA membership, Criminal Background Check on file, and must have completed the GSUSA Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Training. All drivers must hold valid a Driver's License, and motor vehicle records will be reviewed. All vehicles must comply with state laws having current state inspection stickers and driver must provide proof of insurance. (Use Driver Checklist, GSSJC F-477).
What you may need to complete this form:
- Current certifications for all travelers
- First Aiders
- GSUSA Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Training
- Camp Certification
- Specialized Certifications (Lifeguard, Archery, etc.)
- Budget
- Roster of trip participants
- Itinerary of your trip
Note: Daisies and Brownies are limited to trips within six (6) hours of home. Juniors and up - if you are traveling further than six (6) hours from home, you must use the Extended Troop Trip form - (GSSJC O-883)
