This form is for troops/groups to request a camp reservation at one of GSSJC’s eight camp properties! The proceeds from the cookie program provide financial support for the camp properties and the program enjoyed at camp.
Remember, in order to request camp, a troop needs to have the following in place:
- Camp Certification (Camping and Overnight Basics, Volunteer Camper Certification or another legacy GSSJC Outdoor/Troop Camp training.)
- First Aid/CPR Certification (must meet GSSJC minimum requirements and both CPR/First must have an in-person skills assessment.)
- Youth Protection Training Level I and II (this is required for the camp certified volunteer in order to make the camp request.)
Copies of Volunteer Camper Certification or legacy GSSJC Outdoor/Troop Camp training, and First Aid/CPR certifications must be uploaded with your request.
Reservations will not be made until all required copies have been received and all required trainings have been completed.
Reservations for September through February open on June 1 and reservations for March through August open on December 1. Troop camp placement is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Troops may have no more than two future reservations at any given time. Requests are due a minimum of two weeks before the desired camp date.
Day-only visits to camp do not require camp certification, unless booking a unit for the day. If not booking a unit, please provide Troop Leader contact information in the spaces for the camp certified volunteer. First Aid/CPR certified volunteer is required for all camp visits.
