    Financial Assistance

  • Every Girl Gets to Participate.

Our council awarded nearly $1 million in financial aid last year to help girls participate in Girl Scouting, and we know that the need will only increase in the future. We are committed to ensuring every girl has a chance to participate in Girl Scouting. All girls, regardless of their family finances, deserve the opportunity to make new friends, learn new things, and develop her leadership potential to the next level.
  • Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council’s financial assistance fund is available to subsidize some of the basic expenses associated with participation in Girl Scouts.

Girls are eligible to receive up to $150 per year in assistance and adults are eligible to recieve up to $75 per year. All applicants must be current members of Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, and all adults must be a volunteer in good standing.

GSSJC financial assistance is a limited resource that is granted at the council's discretion and is not a reimbursement fund. If items have already been purchased or registration for an event has already occurred, reimbursement is not available from this fund.
